This is probably my favorite one done so far, done recently for the ISCA Digiworkshop. I tried to experiment with some new color techniques and palettes, I still feel like I have a long way to go, especially with the use of color.  Again, I’m really enjoying participating in these weekly challenges, it’s a great way to grow as an artist!

This week’s 3rd place winner on CS3000! I think I’m starting to hone in on shapes better and break down the features to more basic elements. I found some things stylistically with this piece that I liked, and can hopefully build upon in the future.

Quentin Tarantino, again another entry for CS3000.  I’m really enjoying this weekly challenge on Facebook and there are so many talented artists that participate. It’s been a great way for me to try new things and an opportunity for me to push myself as a caricaturist.

German punk rock singer Nina Hagen done for CS3000.  Really trying to experiment with what I need and don’t need to incorporate and still be able to retain a likeness.

This was the first caricature I did for the Caricaturama Showdown 3000 challenge, as well as one of the first pieces I did in Adobe Illustrator.  I’m trying to find a more graphic style, and focusing more on the design of the caricature and less on the rendering.
